I'M Maciek "Magic" Peter Kozlowski
For more than three decades, I've been on a captivating artistic voyage, painting my way through diverse landscapes of abstracts, serene vistas, vivid florals, and soulful portraits. My approach is both methodical and adventurous: I dive deep into a chosen style and medium, letting a particular subject consume my creative energies. Once I feel I've truly explored its essence, I curate these expressions into a unique cohesive collection. Then, with fresh eyes and renewed spirit, I embark on a new artistic journey of discovery.
My canvas is a reflection of the world around me and within me. From the gentle whispers of nature and the powerful calls for social justice to the heartbeat of global events and the pressing concerns of global issues like climate change, I channel them all. But more than just a visual story, my art is an emotional experience. I aim to evoke that profound sensation of joy, that indescribable feeling when one truly connects with a piece of art.
My dedication to the craft has not gone unnoticed. Among various accolades, I'm particularly honored to have been named 'Artist of the Year' in the U.K. in 2017 by artistsinfo and Daler-Rowney. Today, my creations adorn the walls of art enthusiasts from Europe to the U.S., from Japan to my home country, Canada. While my art knows no boundaries, my roots are firmly planted in Ottawa, Canada. It's here that every idea takes shape, every brushstroke finds its rhythm, and every piece begins its journey to touch a soul.
